Beggars !

In Georgia I found so many beggars . Being from India , where you can see many beggars on the road , platforms , railway stations, temples and many other places i thought only India has beggars. In Dubai ,I have not seen any beggar . It was a real shock when I saw many in Georgia . I even found a beggar inside the Charles and Keith showroom where I purchased a shade for me . I have never seen a beggar inside a shop that too next to the cash counter . Not sure whether they are born Georgians or they moved from Istanbul / turkey . Heard Greece is getting bankrupt these days and these beggars might be from there . Or maybe they don't do anything much in life at Georgia , spent all the money they had for smoking and drinking and ended up begging !
Still wondering !  So many beggars at Georgia !!
How could Georgia have so many poor people ?
Trying to find an answer !

  4. I too was shocked to see some well dressed beggars in NY, they had good jeans and T-shirts, a good Jacket to keep them warm, pair of good sports shoes, a hat: to good to be begging in front of a coffee and pastry shop. In fact, I just could hear him say in a sing song tone "Change Please", shaking his used can of Beer, and people were dropping coins and dollars. I am sure he would take a break once in a while to go and get coffee and Doughnut from the coffee shop, which seemed to me coming from India was too expensive, for we always have the converting mentality.
There is so much difference between the standard of the beggars there and here.
I am glad you came to my blog, otherwise I would not have known about your blogs: they are so short and precise, very good!
