Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument

This picture was taken on May 15th,2014 when we visited georgia . It was an amazing place and we loved the snow . The return travel to our hotel room was difficult due to snow and darkness but we had a safe journey.
The Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument or Treaty of Georgievsk Monument is a monument built in 1983 to celebrate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk and the ongoing friendship between Soviet Georgia and Soviet Russia. Located on the Georgian Military Highway between the ski resort town of Gudauri and the Jvari pass, the monument is a large round stone and concrete structure overlooking the Devil's Valley in the Caucasus mountains. Inside the monument is a large tile mural that spans the whole circumference of the structure and depicts scenes of Georgian and Russian history.

Rockfort temple ,Trichy

This picture was taken when I went to my father brother house at Trichy ( India) . We visit this temple sometimes everyday when we are in his house . It's a beautiful temple and definitely a must go for people who have not experienced this rockfort temple view. The shops in the entrance of the temple is my favourite place to visit . The whole lane is full of shops and I love going there for a mini shopping .Many tourists do visit this place.

This temple is situated at the top of the hill and you have to climb stone stairs. The main deity of this temple is GaneshaFrom the top of the temple you will get a fantastic panoramic view of Trichy town and at night when the lights of the temple are switched on it creates a fantastic illusion of a rock with a glowing crown. This temple’s history has links to mythology with Vibhishana and Lord Vinayaka as the central character.

Yerevan Cascade

We went here very late and after a tiring travel to areni village . This picture was clicked in our phone .I must say that we actually managed to go to this place .That would be the right way . We were amazed looking at the statues and the lights at night time .

The Cascade is a giant stairway made of limestone in Yerevan, Armenia. It links the downtown Kentron area of Yerevan with the Monument neighborhood. Designed by architects Jim Torosyan, Aslan Mkhitaryan, and Sargis Gurzadyan the construction of the cascade started in 1971 and was partially completed in 1980.

Inside the Cascade, underneath the exterior steps, are seven escalators that rise along the length of the complex. There are also exhibit halls connected to some of the landings along the escalators which compose the Cafesjian Museum of Art.

The exterior of The Cascade features multiple levels adorned with fountains and modernist sculptures from the Cafesjian collection. The stairs afford walkers unobstructed views of central Yerevan and Mount Ararat. At the base of the Cascade is a garden courtyard with statues by contemporary sculptors such as Botero, Lynn Chadwick, and Barry Flanagan.

There are a number of cafes and restaurants on both sides of the Cascade frequented by locals and tourists. Classical and jazz concerts often take place at the Cascade during spring, summer and early autumn, with spectators sitting on the steps.
